Happy 1st Birthday Blake!!

Saturday was Blake's birthday and he had very busy day! As you can see Melaney came over to help us celebrate on Saturday evening. We can't believe the first year is already over. Blake is learning new things everyday and is currently working to perfect the words "off, hat and please". He certainly has "no" down pat! He isn't walking yet but definitely loves to pull up and walk behind anything he can push. We bet it won't be too much longer.
I'm such a terrible Mommy...when I was taking his hat off, the elastic snapped under his chin and hurt the little guy. We had to take a picture...as you can see, it didn't hurt bad enough for him to stop eating the Birthday cake!
Blake loved the cake and was licking his fingers to get every bit of icing off! We still can't believe how much this kid likes to eat. He must have gotten that from Scott!
